Pastor Jared was born and raised near Salem, Indiana and sensed God's call to ministry in his senior year of high school. He attended Boyce College, where he received a Bachelor's degree in Biblical and Theological Studies and the Southern Baptist Theological Seminary where he graduated in 2022 with a Master of Divinity. In 2024, he and his wife Elizabeth were married. They joined God's work at Blue River in February of 2026.
